ABOUT ME

My name is Jelani Ellis!I’m an illustrator and papermaker based in Minneapolis. I graduated with a BFA in Communication Arts (which sounds like a communications degree, but a name like Visual Storytelling would be more appropos) from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2019.Since getting to Minneapolis, I have vended at local markets and participated in a few residencies with Public Functionary, Grand Marais Artist Colony & the Jerome Foundation in partnership with the Minnesota Center for Book Arts.Contact me at [email protected]
